Common Admission Test (CAT) 2012 is conducted by Indian Institute of Management to fill seats of various IIMs. It is one of the most competitive Exam in India. CAT score is also applicable to get admission in other 145+ management schools in India. Such as some IITs , NITs etc.

Where & how to get CAT 2012 Voucher?
CAT2012 Vouchers can be obtain from the branches of Axis Bank and their associated outlets during 30 July 2012 to 17 September 2012 for Rs 1600 (general candidate) or Rs 800 (SC/ST category)

CAT 2012 Eligibility
Candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of SC ST and Differently Abled (DA or PWD)]

Reservation
In CAT 2012, As per Government of India requirement 15% of seat are reserved for SC Candidate and 7.5% for ST candidate, 27% of seat are available for OBC candidate belonging to the "non-creamy" layer (NC-OBC). for more details check Reservation in CAT 2012


Registration for CAT 2012
On purchasing CAT 2012 voucher, a candidate must log on to the website www.catiim.in to register for CAT 2012. The Registration windows opens on July30,2012 and will close on September19,2012. Detail of registration Procedure is are provided at their above mentioned website.
